In reading this beautiful blessing from Manic Mrs. Stone this week, I was reminded of our meals together. of shared food, conversations, encouragement. of those with whom we share our tables and those whom we have never invited to our tables. 

How are we nourishing our bodies this week, providing ourselves with care, love, and respect? Where does our food come from and at what cost to our health, our communities, our environment? Does what you consume build you up physically, mentally, emotionally? give you energy, employ your body to do work for justice?

Let us give thanks for those around us and be mindful of those who could benefit from joining us.
