Saturday and Sunday, September 22-23 -- Family Camp Weekend at the Farm on the Autumnal Equinox
Starting at 10am, bring your kids, cousins or little friends for some camping, getting hands of all sizes in the dirt, scrumptuous eating, free exhilarating entertainment outdoors, some let loose fun and activities. We’ll close with liturgy at 9am followed by brunch on Sunday in God’s glorious creation.
Saturday, September 22 from 2-5pm -- Frida Berrigan Talk at Irish American Heritage Center
Our friends at 8th Day are hosting an event at the Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 N. Knox Ave. Special guest Frida Berrigan will speak about her work in the struggle for justice and her family’s legacy of ‘living out loud’ in movements of nonviolent resistance. The 2nd Annual Mary Elsbernd, OSF Award will be presented to human rights activist Mary L. Johnson. The event will also feature the Marimba Ensemble of Holy Cross-Immaculate Heart of Parish in the Back of the Yards. Sunday, October 7, 10am-4pm -- Free Market at Mess Hall
6932 N. Glenwood Ave., off Morse Red Line El stop. Bring things to share or come with your needs, both practical and not.
Saturday, October 13, 2pm – Harvest Celebration at the Farm
Join us at the farm for a campfire dinner and a time of gratitude for the harvest, fruits of our labor, but most of all, the relationships with all the fine folks who made the farm happen with us, and shared so generously of time, energy and resources.

Potluck and backyard bonfire with story telling and s’mores … Bring a dish or a drink to share but don’t feel obligated, there will be plenty to share.
